Spice Girls to Replace Victoria Beckham via Reality TV Show

It looks like “girl power” isn’t over yet for four of our favorite spices, but Posh is reportedly ready to move on for good.  The Spice Girls reunited for the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony, and apparently Sporty, Scary, Ginger, and Baby are looking to keep performing together in the near future.  But not just anyone can replace Victoria Beckham, so the girls are planning an X Factor-style reality show to find a suitable fifth member (LIKE ANYONE COULD FILL HER HEELS…okay, I’m done).

According to one of Beckham’s close friends, she is encouraging the girls to continue on without her:

Victoria will not be performing with the Spice Girls again…She has nothing but love and respect for all of the girls and the journey they went on together…Now, though, her focus is firmly on her family and her fashion business.

I can’t say that I don’t respect her decision (have you seen her husband and clothing?), but it’s hard to imagine the Spice Girls without Beckham and her “little black Gucci dresses” (Spiceworld, anyone?).  If this is what the girls really, really want, I’ll stand behind them, but Posh, “say you’ll be there” for at least one more show?
