Yeezus is officially among us, and today a American Psycho-inspired short film surfaced on Kanye West’s website. In the clip, Scott Disick plays the role of Patrick Bateman (originally played by Christian Bale) with Jonathan Cheban playing his co-worker Paul (Jared Leto’s character). The clip re-creates the infamous Huey Lewis and The News scene, so expect a bloody ending (sorry for the spoilers if you never seen American Psycho!). It looks like Jonathan won’t be making it to the Dorsia now.

…to name just a few!  That being said, it only made sense for Fallon to have a jam sesh with the cuddliest governor of them all, New Jersey’s own Chris Christie! Christie stopped by Late Night to slow jam the news, which touched on the recent criticism he’s been receiving about his decision to call an October senate election rather than waiting for November, along with the possibility of a presidential run.

After a brief intro by the governor, Fallon stepped in to croon:

“AwwwwwYEAH. Chris Christie’s about to give New Jersey a…HUGE election.  And he’s putting it in the hands of the people.”

Oh HAAAAAY.

Fallon continued:

“So watch out…cause it’s coming prematurely. October 16th, to be exact.”

Heh heh.

Andy Samberg tells the teacher that he and his groupmates use semicolons “everyday.”  This already caught my eye, because I figured that a song about grammar wouldn’t have grammatically incorrect lyrics; it should be “every day.”  Welp, anyway.  The three continue on, rapping about anything that comes to mind, I guess.  After every phrase, there is a semi-colon and then a related word.  Wait, this doesn’t seem right.  This is where the importance of watching the ENTIRE video comes into play.  Only at the end of the video is the true comedy realized.  Grammar nerds, this one’s all for you.

Now that that’s out of the way…

“Serendipity” is a collaboration between Pivarnick and recording artist Adam Barta, who she originally debated with publicly on the topic of gay marriage, claiming that in the end, people should “marry their other type.”  Well, Pivarnick changed her mind, and Barta decided hey, why not help jumpstart her “singing” career?  Guess the whole pro-wrestling thing wasn’t working out.  Shocker.

The “Serendipity” music video features Pivarnick in a turtleneck tank top, looking like a slightly tipsy woman in her mid 40’s who doesn’t quite know where she is or what’s going on, erm, ever, but is having fun anyway!  Woo!  Barta isn’t helping much with his equally sub-par outfit and vocals.  The song itself is outdated and terrible.  I have nothing else to say about that.  When they’re not lipsyncing into the camera and attempting to have rhythm, they’re running through the city, all dressed up to marry, and *spoiler alert* we find out that their spouses are of the same sex **GASP**.  What passionate, convincing pecks on the lips, Angelina.

Can’t wait to hear this all over the radio!  In my nightmares.

Eight Mile Style has also complained to the ad agency, Wieden + Kennedy, but Guy Cohen, the agency’s attorney, said that Eminem’s “Under The Influence” was a copy of Michael Jackson’s “Give in to Me,” blaming Dr. Dre’s “history of copyright infringement.”  It’s getting sort of complicated here, but “Under the Influence” was actually co-written with D12 and produced by the Bass Brothers, so that argument isn’t looking too great.

Eminem worked with Wieden + Kennedy in the past for a successful Chrysler ad, which just goes to show that no one is safe from Marshall Mathers’ sh*t list.  Except maybe his daughter, Hailie.  We can’t wait to see how this plays out!  You can watch the now altered Facebook ad in question below:

Yes, that is the supposed title of his upcoming follow up to the 2010 masterwork, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. All signs pointed to Yeezus after his girlfriend, Kim Kardasian posted a photo of the artwork on instagram, and pre-order links briefly showing up on his website. Now, iTunes has listed the album, and pretty much confirms the release and album title. Over the weekend Kanye West not only was on SNL, but broadcasted projections of him performing his new song “New Slaves” all over walls in 66 different places around the world. Until earlier this month, Kanye West has kept this project pretty under wraps, but it seems he is ready to drop Yeezus on all of us. Yeezus is set to release on June 18th via Def Jam.

This weekend’s season finale of Saturday Night Live goes out with a bang (in the head) with Kanye West performing and Ben Affleck hosting. Today, NBC posted the awkward teaser trailer featuring Kanye West, Ben Affleck, and Fred Armisen. Fred Armisen poses as “that awkward guy” with Kanye West and Ben Affleck providing mostly deadpan commentary. Kanye West also sported a bandage on his forehead, which could be the result of a certain walking accident?

RiFF RAFF appeared on a recent episode of the daytime drama, “One Life To Live.” In this episode, RiFF RAFF plays the aptly named Jamie Franko, a sketchy art dealer. You can find RiFF RAFF in the first 5 minutes of the show (2:40 to be exact) demanding money from someone in a night club. I’m sure this bizarre move isn’t nothing new for RiFF RAFF, who is known for his outlandish behavior (just check his hilarious twitter feed). Jamie Franko was undoubtedly inspired off of James Franco, who has yet to confirm RiFF RAFF as inspiration for his Spring Breakers character. Lets hope James Franco was sitting at home watching day time television, so he could address this later on.

The TV spot didn’t tell us much or preview any new material, but it was certainly enough to get people talking.  The group stands together in their tacky suits and shades, hands together as if they’re ready for a pre-game chant.  Text appears on screen as their images blur, revealing a new album to be released on June 11.  Yep, that’s less than a month away!

Our thoughts exactly, Andy.  The Wack Album will be the trio’s first album since 2011’s Turtleneck & Chain, which contained popular hits such as “I Just Had Sex” and “The Creep.”  We did, however, hear a new single, “YOLO,” featuring Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar earlier this year that has kept our expectations high.

We can’t wait to see what Andy, Jorma, and Akiva have in store for us next!  Whatever it is, we’re sure they’ll execute it…

One of the biggest selling points (and why someone NEEDS to get me to this fest) is that Death Cab for Cutie will be there to perform their widely loved album, Transatlanticism, in its entirety for its tenth anniversary.  There is no current word on an anniversary tour, so Bumbershoot is the place to be for the ultimate DCFC experience.  Does this mean in two years the band will play through Plans too?  Anyway, back to the amazing Bumbershoot.

Along with Death Cab, the lineup this year features Fun., Heart, Bassnectar, Kendrick Lamar, Tegan & Sara, Icona Pop, Alt-J, and many, many more.  You can see the full list over at Bumbershoot’s website.

The festival will take place from August 31 – September 2 at Seattle Center.  Tickets are currently on sale, and you can purchase an individual day pass for $50 (or $55) or a three-day pass for $120. Who’s going?  And more importantly, who’s picking me up on the way?
