R&B independent women group Destiny’s Child, who officially disbanded in 2006, have been heavily rumored to reunite and perform as part of Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show on February 3rd. Unfortunately, member Michelle Williams has stated in an interview that she “hates to disappoint the people but…it’s not true.”
The group will, however, be coming out with a greatest hits compilation, entitled “Love Songs,” on January 29th featuring an unreleased song, “Nuclear.” Williams is currently in the musical Fela! and has a gospel album coming out, but she did say that the group is hoping to reunite “one day soon.”
