Volcano Choir, an “astro-folk” group consisting of Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and post rockers Collections of Colonies of Bees, have announced the details of their second album, Repave, which will release September 3. They’ve also provided us with an album trailer and North American tour dates! Holy yes.
Repave is Volcano Choir’s first release since 2009’s Unmap. With the combination of Vernon’s forever-heavenly vocals and COCOB’s intricate musicality, it’s a fairly safe bet to say that both your ears and heart will thank you for picking up the new album this fall. Here is the track listing:
