If you were “afraid” of listening to Wavves before, fear not as this is a lot more polished and cleaned up than his previous efforts. Tighter songwriting and less noise makes this perfectly accessible for anyone trying to get into the band for the first time. The songs are catchier than ever, and have a grungy feel that beckon the early 90s. However, I would still say King Of The Beach is the band’s best effort, and is a must listen.
