There’s a good chance you’ve already seen model Cara Delevingne’s face elsewhere today. She has done campaigns for Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, DKNY, and many more all within the past couple of years. People have been calling her the “next Kate Moss” because of her sudden takeover of the fashion industry. Rumor has it that now Delevingne wants to transfer some of that success into the music industry.
The Sun has reported that Delevingne is currently working on a pop album in California with help from her bestie, Rita Ora. According to a source:
She started sessions in LA this month and has already played Rita a few of the songs she’s come up with. She has a first single ready to go that she is considering releasing online soon…Cara is lucky that in her friendship group she has loads of mates in the music industry. Rita has promised to head into the studio with her so they can record together. They want to create a fun pop track together.
Delevingne has previously stated that playing music is one of her “dreams,” and that she can already play guitar and drums. Not sure if that will play into this new music, but I am definitely in support of any new pop musician who can lay down more than just vocal tracks.
She clearly already has the looks and and skills to shoot an amazing album cover, so why not record a few songs? We can’t wait to hear what comes out of this!
