For those of you who thought H&M was cheap, it’s time to reconsider. The company already snagged the luscious lipped beauty Lana Del Rey, but if that didn’t convince you, they are now working with royalty. The first photo of Beyonce for her H&M campaign is up and it looks high-end, and obviously gorgeous.
The multi-talented beauty is pictured lounging on the beach wearing tiny checkered shorts and an almost fully unbuttoned white blouse, with a flower in her perfectly wavy hair and another on her heels. The Summer 2013 campaign is called “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M” and was shot by Inez & Vinoodh. Here is what Beyonce had to say about the collaboration:
I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island…It felt more like making a video than a commercial.
The collection won’t be out until May, but this picture has me ready for the beach NOW.
