Miguel fan down for the count? Of course not!

After popping back up with Miguel at the Billboard Music Awards with ice on her arm and a smile you’d think fan Khayati Shah would have just laughed off her injury at the hands (mainly legs) of the singer right? Well of course not as she is possibly looking to sue Miguel for the incident that occurred.

At the end of his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, Miguel attempted to hop over a group of fans barely making it and landing on two females. Everything appeared to be fine afterwards when one fan popped up in an interview with him saying she was okay.

Seems like Khayati Shah is trying to milk the situation as much as she can and get as much money out of this incident as possible which isn’t entirely surprising.

Looks like another money hungry fan is trying to get every penny she can even though Miguel was at fault.

Eight Mile Style has also complained to the ad agency, Wieden + Kennedy, but Guy Cohen, the agency’s attorney, said that Eminem’s “Under The Influence” was a copy of Michael Jackson’s “Give in to Me,” blaming Dr. Dre’s “history of copyright infringement.”  It’s getting sort of complicated here, but “Under the Influence” was actually co-written with D12 and produced by the Bass Brothers, so that argument isn’t looking too great.

Eminem worked with Wieden + Kennedy in the past for a successful Chrysler ad, which just goes to show that no one is safe from Marshall Mathers’ sh*t list.  Except maybe his daughter, Hailie.  We can’t wait to see how this plays out!  You can watch the now altered Facebook ad in question below:

“Somebody To Love” was a hugely popular single off Bieber’s album My World 2.0, and featured backing vocals from the singer’s mentor, Usher.  The record went platinum in the United States, but did the Biebz really earn it?  Copeland and Overton are suing Bieber and Usher for $10 million, MINIMUM, for copyright infringement.  They have stated that the two songs, which have the same title, have similarities both lyrically and stylistically.  The original song was written in 2008 and, according to the lawsuit, the two original songwriters had previously given a copy of the track to Usher’s representatives.  Copeland claims to have spoken to Usher’s mother (a.k.a. momager) about his music, but neither she nor the star’s reps never followed through.

There is still no word from Bieber or Usher, but a jury trial has been requested.  I guess we’ll have to wait (probably quite a while) and see what the truth is.  Do you think that Usher is responsible, and if so…did poor Justin Bieber know?

Wright recounted the tooth shattering experience for The West Australian:

With the bright lights and explosions, I couldn’t see anything…The next thing I knew, I was whacked in the mouth. I thought I had been punched. I was quite stunned and it took a few seconds to realize what was going on. I could feel bits of teeth in my mouth. Then someone is climbing through my legs to grab the microphone.

Wright isn’t holding the damage against Rose, except for in dental repair costs.  He doesn’t think the singer “intended to do it,” so he is only planning on filing suit for 5,000 AUD ($5186 USD).  “At the very least, I want someone to pay to get my teeth fixed,” stated the fan.

Tour promoter Andrew McManus offered Wright a signed microphone as an apology for the incident, which Wright rejected, responding “I don’t think a microphone is going to fix my teeth.”  BURN.

Guns N’ Roses finishes up their tour of Australia with ZZ Top on March 20th.  Ticket holders, beware; Axl Rose has a microphone and he knows how to use it…maybe.

Pitbull’s song “Give Me Anything” included a lyric that said “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,” which the actress wasn’t too thrilled about.  Can you blame her?  She was kicked out of prison multiple times due to overcrowding, so it’s not like she’s the big house’s representative (yet).  She sued, claiming that the line caused her emotional distress and violated her privacy and publicity rights.  Pitbull filed a countersuit and came out the winner.  Judge Denis Hurley ruled that because the song is a “work of art,” (technical terms, I swear) it is protected under the First Amendment.

Come on, Lindsay.  We’re still rooting for you (mostly because we loved Mean Girls so much), so let Pitbull do his thing and maybe if you start up your music career again you can get some lyrical payback.  It’s possible; I’d be lying if I said I didn’t still rock out to “Rumors” and “Over” on occasion.

You know what’s the worst?  When someone who you’ve never even met claims that you’re engaged, stalking her, a Nazi, AND that you killed her cats.

Oh…that’s never happened to you? Huh, go figure.

Unfortunately, all of that and more happened to my husband Marilyn Manson this month, and he has finally had enough! The legendary shock rocker has filed a lawsuit against Seraphim Ward (real name Yolanda Tharpe,) for spreading false stories about him to the press.  These false stories included claims that Ward was engaged to Manson, later stating that the engagement was broken off because he “did not want to be seen with [African American] women like her.”  She furthered the shocking accusations by saying that Manson was stalking her, “pro-Nazi,” and was somehow responsible for the deaths of her two cats.

Earlier this month, he simply reached out via his lawyer to demand a public apology, but when that didn’t happen, the Antichrist Superstar officially filed a lawsuit seeking $50,000 for “five cases of defamation, misappropriation of common law right of publicity, unlawful use of Manson’s name for commercial advantage, and intentional negligent infliction of emotional distress.”

If you ask me, this is one of those cases that Ward might just want to cut her losses and go home.  But, since that obviously is not the road she has chosen to take, she should prepare herself for a “mOBSCENE,” because this has the potential to get messy.
