The full-length follow-up to Lemuria’s Pebble, which was released in 2011, is set to release on June 18th.  The forthcoming album is entitled The Distance Is So Big, and the distance between fans and the album has just been reduced.  The band is releasing their Brilliant Dancer 7″ on May 21st, featuring an exclusive B-side along with the release’s title track, which will also be on the new album!

The title track, “Brilliant Dancer,” is up for streaming now!  Sheena Ozzella and Alex Kerns gift us with the beauty of their contrasting vocals and create a unique melodic-punk song along with bassist Max Gregor.  The track showcases Lemuria’s magical ability to create music suitable for either banging or bobbing your head – you choose.  “Brilliant Dancer” takes it a step further away from 2008’s (absolutely perfect) Get Better, sounding more like Pebble or the Varoom Allure 7″, yet still showing growth.  We can’t wait to hear what the rest of The Distance Is So Big will offer!

You can pre-order Brilliant Dancer on vinyl now from the Bridge Nine store.  Take a listen below!
