The lovely Adele is the cover model for this month’s “Women in Music” issue of ELLE magazine, and the publication nabbed none other than the princess of pop, Britney Spears, who is a huge Adele fan herself, to pen a “love letter” about the “Rolling in the Deep” songstress.
Spears wrote about why she loves Adele’s voice, personality, and pretty much entire existence in the super cute letter. Here is what she said:
Her voice is just not like any other voice out there. It draws the emotion out of you. A lot of her songs kind of put me in a trance. We were both at the VMAs, and they were like, ‘Do you want to meet Adele?’ And I was like, ‘Um, yes!’ She was even better than I imagined, in person – she’s so incredibly down-to-earth. You can tell she hasn’t gotten caught up in that pop music machine thing – which is easy to get caught in – and she hasn’t just listened to what executives were telling her to do. All of her stuff is hers, and that’s really amazing.
Aw! Even musical royalty like Britney Spears can fangirl sometimes too! The letter is short, but honest, and kind of made me wish the pop star would start blogging for us. I’m sure she could find the time…right?
Katy Perry, among other stars, will also have letters to Adele in the magazine. I need to pick this one up A.S.A.P.
