Notorious Sex Pistols Interview Imitated By Amish People

Bill Grundy Sex Pistols Interview Amish

If you’re anything like me, every time you find yourself watching The Sex Pistols notorious Bill Grundy interview, you find yourself thinking: “gee, this is great and all, but there’s just not enough Amish people in it!” Well, lucky for us, comic Kevin Eldon has made our dreams have come true, as he has managed to completely imitate the original groundbreaking interview, with everything from the set, film quality, to the movements being exact replicas of the original.  The Grundy interview was indeed a pivital moment in the punk scene, with Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren explaining:

“As simple and harmless as it seems today, that interview was a pivotal moment that changed everything. Punk became the most important cultural phenomenon of the late 20th century. Its authenticity stands out against the karaoke ersatz culture of today, where everything and everyone is for sale. Punk’s influence on music, movies, art, design and fashion is no longer in doubt. It is used as the measurement for what is cool. And we all know you cannot sell anything today if it is not cool. The only problem is that punk is not, and never was, for sale.”

Make sure to check out both the original and Amish version of the interview below!
