If Minus The Bear weren’t your heroes before, they’re ready to prove that they fight for the good side with a new song to be featured in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Injustice is a fighting game featuring many characters, locations, and aspects from the DC Comics universe. It is set to release in North America on April 16th, and its soundtrack should be perfect for shooting lasers from Superman’s eyes into the Joker’s chest. WaterTower Music will be releasing the album, featuring songs from Minus The Bear, Rise Against, Depeche Mode, MSTRKRFT, Awolnation, and more.
“Walk On Air” is Minus The Bear’s contribution to the game, and the track is available for early listening now on SoundCloud. It has the indie band’s signature relaxed intensity, with synth mixed in that makes it easy to envision in a video game. Singer/guitarist Jake Snider explained to Rolling Stone why he thinks the song fits well lyrically with the upcoming game:
‘Walk on Air’ fits the superhero vibe oddly well…It’s about how one partner in a relationship can make the other feel great highs and then turn around and bring crushing lows. An eternal battle.
