And guess what? The rumors are TRUE! Everyone’s favorite soulful songbird has just been confirmed to perform the James Bond theme, “Skyfall,” at the February 24th Oscars ceremony as a part of a tribute to the 50th anniversary celebration of the Bond franchise. “Skyfall” also made the shortlist of the 75 original songs up for Oscar consideration.
The performance will be Adele’s first since deciding to take a break from music shortly before the birth of her son, (whose name is still unknown…Adele is nothing if not secretive,) and is sure to be one for the books. Get those pipes warmed up now, Adele, we can’t wait to hear you!
