KISS & Hello Kitty Teaming Up For Rockin’ TV Series

KISS Hello Kitty TV Show

KISS are well known for being marketing masters.  Since their rise to fame in the 1970’s, the band have branded their name on countless material goods: Barbies, board games, action figures, lunch boxes, Pez sets, wine, even coffins are now being sold by the foursome.  This being said, it was only a matter of time until they had their own TV show, but no one, and I mean NO ONE expected the kings of show rock to team up with Hello Kitty to do just that.  The show, tentatively titled “Kiss Hello Kitty,” is being executive produced by bassist Gene Simmons through The Hub.  The show will feature:

“Four Kiss x Hello Kitty characters living their rock ‘n’ roll dreams and bringing pink anarchy to every situation they are in.”

Frontman Paul Stanley gushed to reporters about the project:

“Knowing and viewing The Hub as I do daily with my three children, it is the perfect home for us to bring the Kiss Hello Kitty juggernaut to yet another generation.”

Sounds pretty hardcore to me!  Rock on, Kitty, rock on.
