Britney Spears and L.A. Reid may be moving on, but our favorite inspirational and kindhearted judge Miss Demi Lovato will be sticking around for season three of The X Factor to find America’s next big singing sensation!
Lovato will join the mean blunt veteran reality show judge Simon Cowell on the panel, hopefully along with some impressive replacements for the other two seats. Cowell admitted that even he was excited for the starlet’s return in a press release:
She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year…Even though she can be really, really annoying – I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists.
That might just be one of the nicest things he’s ever said. Last season’s X Factor sprouted multiple new stars, including Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar, and winner Tate Stevens, whose album comes out in April. With these discoveries and Lovato being on board, season three should be worth a watch. Though, I’m not too sure who they could possibly choose to replace the one and only princess of pop.
