Joy Kills Sorrow has produced a third album called “Wide Awake.” The group always had a knack for writing and performing intimate songs. There last albums have been based off of these type of musical arrangements. Now the Boston-based string band is emphasizing their epic side, too, on Wide Awake. The album is a collection of a milestone in the blossoming career of a group that began its journey in Los Angeles. The album has some amazing covers and is also going in a whole new direction. The band is excited about their new sound and feel its a tremendous move on the part of the albums release.
