W-o-w. Whoever claims that all DJs just slap a button and dance around to pre-recorded mixes live will find a new respect with talent like Jack Conte. The fully bearded Californian posted a new video of him remixing Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and Skrillex’s “Rock N’ Roll (Will Take You To The Mountain).” I totally also heard snippets of Daft Punk’s “One More Time” thrown into the mix, which is wholly appreciated.
Conte uses a Launchpad on top of a flat screen to create both visual and audio effects that will have your eyes glued to the screen and your ears to the speakers. An exciting combination of these aspects is essential in the EDM world, and Conte is sure to get widely noticed with his flawless execution.
The now viral video conveniently promotes his new spring EP & summer tour as well. Certainly not a bad way to gather music/ticket buyers. I can hear the download buttons being clicked now…
