Gucci Mane (you know, the rapper with the ice cream cone tattooed on his face), has been arrested for hitting a soldier with a champagne bottle on March 16th at a nightclub in Atlanta. Ouch.
The soldier, who is identifying solely as James to the press, simply asked a security guard at the club if he would be able to take a picture with Mane, but the interaction went downhill quickly:
I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle…And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face.
Ouch x2. James’ gash required ten stitches, and he was also left with a concussion. The rapper turned himself into the Fulton County Jail on Tuesday, where he was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. He has previously been arrested multiple times, including one incident where he threw a woman out of a moving car, so let’s just say I’m not surprised and leave it at that (but seriously, ugh).
Lesson learned: Never ask for a picture with Gucci Mane (not that I’d want one). Did he learn his lesson too? We’ll see.
