First we gave you the stream of “Sacrilege” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and now we present to you the music video! The video stars Lily Cole as a young woman whose fellow townspeople aren’t very happy with her. Like, “burn her at the stake” kind of unhappy.
The “Sacrilege” video takes us through time, showing the unfaithful, promiscuous life of the young woman that eventually backfires on her, leading to extremely vengeful neighbors. The video is intense and a great change of pace from the typical videos full of lip syncing we often see.
“Sacrilege” is off the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s newest album, Mosquito, which comes out in the US on April 16th. Watch the video below!
