30 Seconds to Mars to Literally Launch “Up in the Air”

30 Seconds to Mars
30 Seconds to Mars already had a futuristic and encapsulating sound; now they are taking their otherworldly vibe to new levels.  The band has a new single entitled “Up in the Air,” and it will be living up to its name tomorrow when the first copy is launched along with experiments and goods being sent to the International Space Station.  They will also visit Mission Control on March 18th to speak with space station astronaut Tom Marshburn.

“Up in the Air” will be the first new music from 30 Seconds to Mars since the release of 2009’s truly epic This Is War.   This will be the first single from the band’s upcoming 2013 LP, and it will be fully released on March 19th for us humans to hear.  There is not yet a release date for the album, but the band has been “excitedly working in the studio” according to singer (and my absolute #1 dream man) Jared Leto.

I hope that the Echelon (30stm fanbase) is prepared, because this is not a dream, and it’s no beautiful lie.  This is for real!
