Up for some Karaoke? This is an album of straight forward covers of some of the biggest Motown tunes from the Motown era – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Tracks Of My Tears, How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) by easy-listening icon Michael Bolton. He still has a good voice and this package is sure to appeal to his fanbase of soccer moms and red hat ladies everywhere who will be singing along in their volvos as they chauffeur the kids or grandkids to and from after-school activities. His renditions of all of these well-known and often-covered songs are pleasant, nothing that you would really call his own interpretation. The whole album plays it very safe for the QVC shopper crowd since that’s a key outlet for his products.
