From the second you start the IDestiny remix of “Closer” by Tegan & Sara, you can tell it’s going to be something special. The Dallas-based DJ/Producer grabs listener’s attention by completely forgoing the classic slow fade-in and jumping right into an incredibly well-crafted dubstep banger that is guaranteed to have you pressing repeat. IDestiny manages to successfully conquer the difficult task of finding the perfect balance of dubstep and electro, all while still highlighting the flawless Tegan & Sara vocals. The song is completely reworked to make a truly fantastic remix that showcases IDestiny’s undeniable talent, that I, for one, have no doubt that we will be seeing more of in the future. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next!
