In a timely fashion, Purity Ring covered the Soulja Boy song “Grammy.” The Canadian electronic duo put a more lighthearted, Balearic twist on the track, and probably is their most accessible thing they’ve done. It reminds me a lot of something off of jj’s Kills mixtape (which you should check out if you haven’t). If anything, it’s hope that their next album is heading in that direction.
