Everyone’s favorite lip-gloss-poppin’ rapper Lil Mama has officially scored the gig of a lifetime as the late, great, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez of TLC. Left Eye died tragically in a 2002 car accident, and is now being honored by VH1 in a documentary that will be executive produced by surviving TLC memebers, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. Legendary rapper MC Lyte spilled the beans about the casting decision while being interviewed on the red carpet for the VIBE Impact Awards, saying:
“I don’t know if I’m supposed to say, but I will…She just got the role of Left Eye in TLC’s new movie.”
