A young girl with curly blonde locks sits next to a boy with shaggy red hair on the bus as the song begins.  HMMM, I wonder who they could represent?  At least Swift has finally found a fitting way to visually manifest her infamous immaturity.  What’s that?  The children in the video are mature beyond their years?  Welp.

We see the two cuties latch onto one another throughout daily school activities, including gym class and band class, as pictured above.  But seriously, they’re off to the side during gym doing yoga by themselves.  THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN.  Speaking of things that don’t happen, if you find yourself beginning to feel jealous of the young couple’s relationship, just remember that elementary school aged boys do NOT (or cannot) read The Notebook in real life.

Yeah, you guys did it better.

So, do the present day Swift and Sheeran even appear in their own video?  Guess you’ll have to watch and see.

Okay, so it’s just soda; everyone’s favorite girl next door is still a suitable role model for your young’uns (even though diet soda is bad for you too).  Diet Coke’s first commercial featuring Taylor Swift is up, only a few days after its rival, Pepsi, released a new commercial with Beyoncé.

In the commercial, Swift is shown in different settings, writing out the lyrics to her single, “22,” while drinking Diet Coke to fuel her creativity.  We also see and hear a few fans singing portions of the song, whether they be driving, frying food, or sitting with their own acoustic guitars (such a versatile song!).  The fully recorded song begins to play as T. Swift takes to the stage, and we’re told to “stay extraordinary.”

I’m not sure if this commercial really told us much about its product, but it’s hard to name one that does nowadays.  I will say that it was cute, and both Taylor Swift and Coca-Cola having red as their trademark color worked out nicely.  Does it compare to Beyoncé’s Pepsi ad?  Probably not.  Oh well.

ED SHEERAN IS MOVING THE THE US!

The cutie-pie announced today that he is officially planning on relocating to the states for the duration of his tour with Taylor Swift.  When asked about possible locations for the move, Sheeran has some surprising answers, saying:

“I’m moving to the States for a bit. I love New York but it’s too similar to London. I still don’t own a place in London, I own one in the country in England because I like having the escape. I wouldn’t want to be in the city. LA is cool but you find a lot of douche bags there. I’d rather be surrounded by people in cowboy hats that spit tobacco.”

Sounds to me like Texas might be it for you, Eddie boy, but you’re always welcome in New York…

British cutie Ed Sheeran broke hearts everywhere today when he announced that his sophomore album will “probably come out in February 2014,” and that he would be recording it while on the road touring with the one and only Taylor Swift.

Sheeran, also known as “The Ginger Jesus,” (fine, I just made that up, whatever,) has skyrocketed to stardom this past year, with his debut album, “+” scoring a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year, along with two Brit Award nods, and taking partial credit for helping write hit songs for both Taylor Swift AND One Direction.  And hey, if you take out the obvious awkwardness he must feel, that has to be pretty cool!

With Sheeran already having gone 6x platinum in the UK, it was only a matter of time before his US takeover began, and I, for one, can’t wait to see what this talented young ging has is store for the future.
