I know that there are only two members, but if this isn’t a “super group” then I don’t know what is. Rock goddess Aimee Mann and indie idol Ted Leo have teamed up to create #BOTH, and the duo already have shows lined up.
It looks like the hashtag phenomenon is still going strong and if #BOTH’s music is anywhere near as great as we’re expecting, the band will be a trending topic on Twitter in no time. We don’t know too much about the project yet, but Mann tweeted that she has been practicing bass for the shows, forgetting “what a MUSCULAR instrument bass is.”
#BOTH will be playing at Largo in Los Angeles on March 8 and 9 and at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco on March 26 and 27. Who’s excited? Get on that, California!
