Daft Punk teamed up with The Creators Project to make a video series featuring video interviews with the collaborators of their upcoming album, Random Access Memories. Up first is the legendary disco/electronic icon, Giorgio Moroder. In this video, Giorgio speaks on his thoughts about working with Daft Punk while recalling his past and the history of his music. No, you are not being Daft “Punked” (buh dum chhh) the electronic duo has confirmed that they will be releasing their comeback album this May! It’s been a long couple of years since 2005’s hit “Human After All,” came out, and many had lost hope of the duo ever returning after rumors of them headlining Coachella proved to be false. The still-unnamed album will be the first the group has done after separating from Virgin Records, but fear not, because they have a slew of famous friends to help them out, including Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams, Panda Bear (of Animal Collective,) and Giorgio Moroder! Can’t wait to see what they have in store!
