Disco is dead? Daft Punk doesn’t think so. The french electronic duo (finally!) premiered their new track “Get Lucky” featuring the smooth vocals from Pharrell, and the legendary Nile Rodgers. The song was premeiered as a teaser at Coachella, and officially released last night on iTunes at 12:01AM.

“Get Lucky” will be on the upcoming album Random Access Memories, which is set to drop on May 21st via Columbia.

As you all already know, Daft Punk will be releasing a new album some time this year, postponing their tour to do so, bringing the blog world into a frenzy… Well here’s this for another surprise, during a commercial break  of Saturday Night Live, a 15 second teaser trailer of new material from Daft Punk aired! Check it out here, and by the sound of things and the collaboration with the legendary Nile Rodgers, this should be a dope record!

No, you are not being Daft “Punked” (buh dum chhh) the electronic duo has confirmed that they will be releasing their comeback album this May! It’s been a long couple of years since 2005’s hit “Human After All,” came out, and many had lost hope of the duo ever returning after rumors of them headlining Coachella proved to be false. The still-unnamed album will be the first the group has done after separating from Virgin Records, but fear not, because they have a slew of famous friends to help them out, including Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams, Panda Bear (of Animal Collective,) and Giorgio Moroder! Can’t wait to see what they have in store!
