So, obviously there is a studio or live collaboration in the works, right?  Most likely.  Facebook fans are having some fun with their guesses, which include “a Hardparty,” “Knifewell,” and my personal favorite, a “sex tape.”  Hey, at least they’d still hold a real element of surprise with that one.

Hardwell currently has a song entitled “Never Say Goodbye” on the way with Dyro, and Knife Party’s new EP, Haunted House, is out TODAY!  We hope they can squeeze whatever they are planning into their schedules ASAP, because this is bound to be insane.  Check out the picture below!

I’ll tell you right away because I know it was my first thought/prayer – he DOES perform “Ignition (Remix).”  But this wasn’t just an R. Kelly set, so there was a little twist – the song was performed over Phoenix’s hit “1901.”  Strange combination?  It worked surprisingly well, but hey, it involved “Ignition (Remix),” so it was bound for greatness from the start.

Phoenix continued with their amazing performance, having Kelly back one more time to perform “I’m A Flirt.”  Luckiest crowd ever, or luckiest crowd ever?  I will be anxiously awaiting a collaboration album…or at least a studio remix of “1901” and “Ignition (Remix).”  Check out the performance below!

Now that Lady Gaga is temporarily stuck in a (24-carat gold) wheelchair, it’s about time that we see her softer side.  While we’re still waiting for any concrete information at all about her supposed upcoming release, ARTPOP, we’ll take any Gaga we can get, and a jazz album is a good chance for the singer to really show off those sensual pipes.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will be recording the album together in June, and Bennett is very excited about the possibilities:

We’re working on it from now until June, and then we’ll record in June. She’s phenomenal…I get along great with her. She’s looking forward to it and so am I.

The duo has already collaborated on “The Lady Is a Tramp” for Bennett’s Duets II album, on which their voices worked fantastically together, so it’s very exciting knowing that we’ll be able to hear even more.  Gaga is (obviously) a true pop star, but when she explores different genres, even the pop-haters can’t deny her talent.

What are we supposed to expect from Save Rock And Roll?  First Fall Out Boy has rapper 2 Chainz on their comeback video, and now this?  I think it’s fairly safe to say they won’t be reverting to the early 2000’s pop punk on Take This To Your Grave, but it also seems like they’re taking a giant step away from 2008’s Folie A Deux.  This has been one of the most confusing reunions ever, but the hype is still growing, so we’ll just have to see where it leads come the album’s release date, April 16th.

Even though Rihanna’s latest album, “Unapologetic,” just came out this past November, the hitmaker extrodinare is reportedly back in the studio with Australian model/rapper Iggy Azalea, with audio engineer Marcos Tovar stating:

“She was in the studio with Iggy earlier this month. They were introduced by someone in the Roc Nation team that has been managing Iggy’s tour and Rihanna immediately loved her style. They’re definitely collaborating on something together.”

Azalea has been steadily working her way into the big-times lately, being featured on tracks by superstars like Steve Aoki and T.I., and I have no doubt that a Rihanna track is JUST what Iggy needs to really make it big. Good luck, girls, we can’t wait to hear what you have in store for us!

Harlem native Rakim Mayers, better known as A$AP Rocky, has had one whirlwind of a year.  Between a steamy romance with model/rapper Iggy Azalea, appearing in Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem” video, and now working with the one and only Skrillex, there is no doubt that Rocky is one of the most promising new faces in the game.

“Wild For The Night” was released today, along with Rocky’s debut album, “Long.Live.A$AP.” And is gearing up to be just as much of a hit as his 2011 mixtape was, which got stellar reviews from fans and critics alike.  The track is a beautiful mix of dubstep, EDM, and hip-hop that will have you nodding your head while trying to keep up with the multi-layered trance-inspired beat, and is sure to keep you pressing repeat too many times to count.  Check it out below and let us know what you think: did Rocky live up to all the hype?

Yes, you read that correctly.  The rumored girlfriend of notorious tough-cookie Simon Cowell is hoping to start her music career back up again by working with the Godfather of dubstep, Sonny Moore, aka Skrillex.  Electra, who worked with Prince nearly 20 years ago on her debut album before giving up music for a successful modeling and acting career, has recently returned to the studio to record a couple of dance songs, and has said, “My absolute dream collaboration would be Skrillex.  I also love Kaskade.” We must say, a Skrillex/Electra collaboration would be something we would be interested in hearing, so we’ll make sure to keep you posted!
